Jack and Jill Day

Our annual Jack and Jill Day is a day of fun for the entire family. In September, we celebrate a new program year and new beginnings. Plus, we pay special tribute to Carole Robertson, one of the four little girls who died in the Birmingham church bombing on September 15, 1963.

Each year,  to commemorate Martin Luther King Day, the Erie Shores Chapter participates in Jack and Jill of America’s National Day of Service, which involves our families coming together to serve others in the community who are disadvantaged and in need.

Founder’s Day is celebrated each year in January in collaboration with the Cleveland, Akron, and Youngstown Chapters of Jack and Jill.  It is a magnificent event that honors the history of Jack & Jill at the national, regional and chapter level. We invite past Jack and Jill members and prospective members.

National Black Family Day was established in May of 1987. Activities are planned around the family and promote the solidarity of the family. This annual event occurs in May and is designed to celebrate the culture, heritage, strength, and endurance of the Black Family and all other cultural ethnicities to whom we extend an open invitation to join in the fun.
